I have personally found it extremely benefical for my physical and mental wellbeing and trained to be a teacher so I could share the benefits with others.

Is Yoga all just stretching and poses?

Yoga encompasses so much more than just poses. There are eight limbs (Areas) of yoga - the main focus of most classes include the movement and poses (Called Asana), breathing exercises (Called Pranayama) and meditation (Called Dhyana). If you wish to learn more about the eight limbs of yoga in your class please let me know as I am happy to share.

Are you qualified and insured to teach?

Yes, I have full insurance and I am certified to teach - I was taught to strict Yoga Alliance standards.

Do you offer private one to one/group classes?

I can offer one to one or private group classes at weekends on a regular or one off basis, these take place in your own home (Or garden, weather permitting if you'd like!).

If you would like to discuss this, please contact me using the 'Email Liam' button at the bottom of this page.

Which of your classes is best suited for me?

I teach Vinyasa Yoga, which means pairing movement with breath.

Through my teaching experience, I have refined my own 'All Abilities Yoga' style, meaning I offer classes which suit most abilities, by offering the most accessible version of a posture/pose first with clear and precise cues/instructions, followed by the option of deepening the posture if the pupil thinks it will be beneficial to them, there is no forcing or expectations. We listen to, and honour bodies where they're at, knowing that with continued practice, flexibility, balance and strength will come.

Yoga was originally taught one to one so that a student can benefit most from the practice - This also means that you get a practice that is suited to your needs and requirements, you may want to consider one or a few private classes before joining a group if you are new to yoga, however my classes contain people of all abilities.

If you have any queries about your suitability, please don't hesitate to contact me using the 'Email Liam' button at the bottom of this page.

I’m not flexible or fit - Can I practice Yoga?

Definitely, if this is the first form of physical movement you’re practicing in a long time please speak to your medical professional. If they give you the ok - then we can work together to build your strength and flexibility - These are not required to begin a Yoga practice.

I have an injury/medical condition - Can I practice Yoga?

I would always recommend speaking to your medical professional before practicing any form of physical movement. If you get the ok from them and would like to attend a class please book in.

If you'd prefer 1:1 teaching, contact me so that we can discuss your needs and create a class that safely aligns with your goals.

I am a person with a disability - Can I practice Yoga?

I would recommend you speak to your medical professional and if they that agree Yoga, performed safely may be suitable for you and you would like 1:1 teaching, please contact me and we can arrange a class that is suitable and tailored to you.

I am a pregnant person - Can I practice Yoga?

I would suggest that you speak to your medical professional, if they give you the ok to proceed and you would like 1:1 teaching, please contact me and we can arrange a class. Please note that I may suggest another more suitable teacher if I do not feel I am the best suited to your needs.
